Normatec Lounge

With access to apps, you can tailor your media to suit your mood, creating a more immersive and distraction-free environment that complements the sauna’s relaxation and recovery benefits. |
Our Normatec lounge allows you to relax and enjoy the benefits of compression therapy in a comfortable setting. The Normatec hips, boots & arms are designed to help reduce muscle soreness, improve circulation and speed up recovery after intense workouts or long days on your feet.
To set up for your session, take a seat in one of our recliners and adjust the chair to your liking. The recliners are fully adjustable to help you find your perfect comfort level. To get started, simply slide the compression hips, boots or arms onto your hips, legs or arms. They will inflate with air to apply dynamic compression. The system works by creating a massage-like effect that helps flush out lactic acid and promote recovery.
You can adjust the pressure level to your preference. Use the control panel to increase or decrease pressure as needed. We recommend starting at a medium setting and adjusting based on your comfort level.
Bookings last for 30 minutes, the sessions are preset to 15 or 30 minute blocks allowing you to relax for a few minutes once the program completes to allow the blood to flow naturally again. If it’s your first time using compression therapy, you may want to start with a lighter session and gradually increase the intensity over time.
You can sit back and enjoy the easy playlist we provide on the large screen TV, close your eyes, or bring a book to read while you recover. We do ask you do not play sound from your phone while in the normatec lounge.
The compression sleeves will go through a series of cycles, applying and releasing pressure to help enhance blood flow and recovery. If you feel any discomfort, you can pause the session or adjust the pressure settings at any time.
Once your session is complete, the system will deflate, allowing you to easily remove the compression sleeves.
Please wipe down the boots with the provided sanitising wipes to maintain hygiene for other members.
Please do not eat while in the Normatec Lounge.
Please avoid using oils or lotions during your session, as these can damage the equipment.
