Private Infrared Suites
- An infrared sauna uses light to create heat, unlike a traditional sauna that uses steam or heated rocks to heat the air around you. The infrared light gives off what’s known as ‘infrared radiant heat’ which penetrates into your skin, deep into your tissues, muscles and cells, increasing oxygen flow and circulation, produces a detoxifying sweat and dissolves harmful substances accumulated in your body.
- Deeper Detoxification: Infrared heat penetrates up to 1.5 inches beneath the skin, facilitating deeper detoxification and greater toxin removal through sweat.
- Muscle and Joint Pain Relief: Infrared heat provides targeted relief for sore muscles, joint pain, and inflammation, improving recovery from physical activity or injury.
- Improved Sleep Quality: The gentle, relaxing heat helps calm the nervous system, which can contribute to better sleep patterns.
- Skin Rejuvenation: Infrared therapy enhances circulation to the skin’s surface, promoting healthier, more youthful skin by boosting collagen production.
- Weight Loss Support: Infrared heat stimulates the metabolism, which can lead to increased calorie burn during and after sessions.
- Relaxation & Stress Reduction: The soothing heat induces relaxation, lowers stress levels, and promotes mental clarity and peace.
Our infrared sauna sessions offer a private and relaxing experience, using the therapeutic benefits of infrared heat to promote detoxification, muscle recovery, and overall wellness.
Each private room is equipped with a TV, and the sound is connected to the speakers inside the sauna. To use it, press the Home button on the remote to access apps like Spotify and Netflix, which are pre-logged in. The volume control adjusts the sound inside the sauna, but please keep the volume setting below 20 for an optimal experience. Be sure to keep the remote in the designated holder on the wall – do not take it inside the sauna.
Wear as little as you feel comfortable with, we recommend no more than swimwear. Place your towel on the bench for comfort, then take a seat and make yourself comfortable.
Our infrared saunas operate at temperatures between 50 to 70 degrees Celsius. The current temperature is displayed on the internal panel. If you feel too warm, you can either open the door to let in some cool air or adjust the air vent above your head.
While infrared therapy uses lower heat than traditional saunas, it can still cause heat-related effects. If at any point you feel dizzy or unwell, step out of the sauna and take a moment to hydrate.
We recommend ending your session with a refreshing shower, which will help your body cool down and feel rejuvenated after your infrared therapy. Complimentary body wash is provided in the showers.
For safety and hygiene; do not use oils in the sauna, as this creates a fire hazard and eating is not permitted inside the sauna.
In addition to the safety devices mounted & accessible around the facility, we have 24/7 safety monitoring with emergency assistance buttons in each individual sauna and private suite. If pressed an an alarm call will be triggered back to our security company allowing us to investigate further and assist as required. Any false alarm call out fees will be passed on to the member.
For the cleanliness and safety of all members, we ask that you take a quick rinse in the shower & towel dry before using the sauna, ice baths, or when you’re transitioning from the sauna to the ice bath. For hygiene reasons, eating is not allowed in the sauna or ice baths.
After every session, members are expected to wipe and clean all equipment thoroughly.
For sauna timber benches, use the spray bottle labelled “sauna wood only” and wipe over the entire bench with the natural disinfectant provided and paper towels.
For the sauna glass, use a paper towel and spray bottle labelled “glass only”, paying close attention to any sweat marks or sweat around the door handles, including wiping the door handles & the screen in the Infra-red saunas.
For normatec boots, wipe down the boots with the provided sanitising wipes.
Please place your paper towels and cleaning wipes in the designated bins throughout the facility and return the spray bottles to their holder.
Should you ever notice an issue with the cleanliness of our facility or any of our equipment, please scan the ‘contact us’ QR codes located throughout the facility & provided us as much information as possible including pictures where relevant. Cleanliness is our number 1 priority.
