Recovery Club provides recovery and wellness facilities including (but not limited to) saunas, ice baths, contrast therapy, infrared saunas and compression therapy. These services involve exposure to heat, cold, and physical stressors and may not be suitable for everyone.

Health Conditions Requiring Medical Clearance

You should not use Recovery Club facilities without medical advice if any of the following apply to you:

  • You have ever been diagnosed with a heart condition or have suffered a stroke
  • You experience unexplained chest pain at rest or during physical activity
  • You experience dizziness, fainting, or loss of balance, particularly during exertion or heat exposure
  • You have had an asthma attack requiring immediate medical attention within the last 12 months
  • You have diabetes (Type I or Type II) that has been difficult to control in the last 3 months
  • You have any muscle, bone, or joint condition that could be worsened by heat, cold, or physical stress
  • You have any other medical condition, injury, or health concern that may require special consideration when using recovery or wellness facilities

Your Responsibility

By choosing to use Recovery Club facilities, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You accept the risks associated with heat, cold exposure, and recovery modalities
  • You are responsible for monitoring your own physical condition during sessions
  • You will stop immediately if you feel unwell, dizzy, faint, or uncomfortable
  • You will inform Recovery Club staff of any relevant health concerns if required

If Your Health Changes

If your medical condition changes at any time, it is your responsibility to reassess your suitability to use Recovery Club facilities and seek medical advice where appropriate.
