To protect the member experience, safety, and integrity of our premium environment, all members are expected to follow the Recovery Club Sweatiquette at all times.

Respect the Space

  • Treat all facilities, equipment, and rooms with care.
  • Keep noise low; maintain a calm, respectful environment.
  • Leave every space cleaner than you found it.

Towel Rules are Non-Negotiable

  • A towel must be used in all sauna areas – private and communal.
  • Sit on a towel at all times in any sauna.
  • ALL ACCESS members are provided one towel per visit for private services; bring your own for ice baths and showers.
  • Towels are available for purchase or hire if needed.

Hygiene & Cleanliness

  • Rinse before entering saunas or ice baths.
  • No oils, lotions, or food in any sauna or therapy area.
  • Wipe down equipment, boots, benches, and surfaces after use using the correct cleaning products.
  • Dispose of all paper towels and wipes in designated bins.

Attire & Etiquette

  • Appropriate swimwear or similar attire is required.
  • Nudity is not permitted anywhere in the club.
  • Use indoor voices; be mindful of others’ experience.

Booking Discipline

  • Sessions are 50 minutes start to finish, including showering and changing.
  • Be on time and exit on time. Overstays incur fees and repeated breaches may result in termination.
  • Each member must check in themselves for entry and room access.

Front Door Access

  • Entry is allowed only with an upcoming booking, active membership, completed waivers, and up-to-date billing.
  • Ensure the door closes fully behind you.
  • Tailgating is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate membership termination.

Private Room Access

  • Access opens exactly at your booking start time.
  • Doors auto-lock; use the emergency override only in genuine emergencies.
  • Do not prop doors open.

Sauna Expectations

  • Follow seating etiquette based on heat tolerance.
  • Do not block the sauna doorway.
  • Sprinkling water on rocks is allowed; oils are strictly forbidden.
  • Limit sessions to recommended exposure levels and exit if unwell.

Ice Bath Expectations

  • Shower before entering.
  • Maximum recommended time: 1–5 minutes.
  • Respect rotation etiquette in communal spaces; avoid delays between sets.

Contrast Therapy Protocol

  • Follow the method: Hot → Rinse → Cold → Rest → Repeat.
  • Hydrate as needed; pause if dizzy or unwell.

Normatec Lounge Standards

  • Use boots as instructed.
  • Keep sound off personal devices.
  • Wipe down boots after use.

Safety First

  • In emergencies, call Triple Zero (000).
  • Duress buttons are for emergency use only.
  • False alarm call-outs will incur charges.

Personal Items & Storage

  • Store shoes, bags, and personal items in cubbies or lockers.
  • The club is monitored 24/7, but members are responsible for their own belongings.

Community Expectations

  • Support a respectful, inclusive, and positive environment.
  • Be considerate of first-time users and those building confidence.
  • We grow together. Make every session a Level Up moment.

Zero-Tolerance Breaches

  • Tailgating
  • Repeated overstays
  • Unsafe behaviour
  • Damage to facilities
  • Harassment or disrespect

    Violations may result in suspension or termination of membership.
